So that the SPEC SERWIS EMERGENCY SERVICE can respond as quickly as possible, we need a complete and unambiguous service request. The service request terms set out the basic information that must be provided at first contact – by phone or e-mail.
When reporting a fault, please provide:
- company details, installation location, contact person and preferred form of return contact,
- the type and designation of the drive/device (e.g. NORD geared motor, motor, frequency inverter, pneumatic drive), a description of the fault symptoms, information on the criticality of the downtime and access to the site (health and safety, entry passes, required permits).
Providing the above data is equivalent to accepting the performance of the intervention under the emergency service procedure – on the terms and rates agreed with the SPEC SERWIS department before work begins. This allows us to quickly decide on dispatching the service team and prepare the appropriate crew and spare parts.
Service request form
The fastest way to submit a request is the form below. You will find the unit data (type and serial number) on the device's name plate — the graphic shows where to look for it on the gear unit, motor and frequency inverter. For a complete drive system, the number from the name plate on the gear unit takes precedence. Helpful resource: how to read a NORD name plate.
